End of the Financial Year & Planning Ahead

🕛 As March draws to a close and the clocks move forward into lighter evenings, many organisations are taking the opportunity to review systems in preparation for a new financial year.

At BCC IT, this is a time for forward planning – ensuring systems, security, and support structures are in place to carry that momentum into the months ahead. We continue to support organisations across Wales and the wider UK with fully managed systems and tailored IT support, including infrastructure improvements, enhanced connectivity, and ongoing cyber security protection. 

As always, our focus remains on delivering reliable, responsive IT solutions – supported by continuous improvements, customer feedback, and strengthened security measures. This month we’re sharing a snapshot of activity from our teams, along with key updates and insights from across the business.

IT Services Across Wales: Onsite & Remote Support in Action

💻 Throughout the month, our team has continued to deliver hands-on support to organisations across a wide range of sectors. From onsite visits to remote support, these day-to-day interactions give us valuable insight into how systems are used in practice, helping us to identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen resilience, and ensure everything runs as efficiently as possible.

Onsite support is a key part of this, allowing us to see first-hand where small changes can make a meaningful difference. During March, our engineers have been visiting clients to carry out cabling, cabinet installations, and support office moves – ensuring systems are set up reliably from the outset.

Several projects have focussed on strengthening and modernising IT environments, including the migration of virtual servers to more efficient, fully supported platforms. Improving connectivity has also been a priority, with work carried out across Machynlleth, Aberystwyth, Bala, Caernarfon, Cardiff and Carmarthen. This has included installing wireless access points and enhancing Wi-Fi coverage to support fast, reliable day-to-day operations.

Alongside onsite work, our remote IT support services continue helping businesses with Microsoft 365, cloud services, system upgrades, and enhanced security measures. Our service desk team plays a critical role in ensuring email systems, data, and user access remain secure, reliable, and well managed.

From planned outages and infrastructure upgrades to proactive monitoring and day-to-day support, our focus remains on keeping systems running smoothly with minimal disruption to everyday business activity.

Security and Compliance Support

🛡️ Our cyber security team has continued to work across a range of security and compliance activities, including Cyber Essentials assessments, vulnerability management, and PCI related support. 

Ongoing support and expert guidance play a vital role in helping organisations understand cyber risk, maintain compliance, and ensure systems remain protected – particularly as businesses are reviewing their infrastructure and preparing for the year ahead. While much of this work happens behind the scenes, it remains key to safeguarding your business and maintaining resilient IT environments.

Listening, Responding, Improving

📞 Customer feedback always plays an important role in how we shape and refine our services. 

Last year we introduced a change to the voice recordings on our phone system, increasing the speed of menu options to help callers reach the right person more quickly. While this was intended to improve efficiency, we subsequently received feedback from users – and it became clear that, for many, the faster pace was not more favourably received. 

As a result, we’ve reverted the menu recordings back to their original speed, creating a more natural and accessible experience for those getting in touch. 

It’s a small adjustment, but one that reflects how closely we listen to your feedback and how seriously we take the experience of contacting our team. 

Data-Backed Performance

📊 We continue to monitor customer feedback through our customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores. We’re pleased to share that our net CSAT score remains very high at 99.1 based on feedback collected over the past quarter. The image below highlights some of the latest feedback we’ve received from clients.  

Our live feedback feed is updated continuously and reflects real up-to-the-minute client experience. We’re always grateful for the positive feedback – and equally value the feedback that helps us improve. 

We welcome any further thoughts or suggestions and will continue to review and refine our services to ensure they remain as clear, responsive, and easy to use as possible.

Closing the Year Strong

💼 As March draws to a close and the financial year comes to an end, we’d like to thank our clients for their continued support. It’s through these conversations and ongoing collaboration that we’re able to refine, improve, and deliver the level of service organisations rely on.

We’ll continue building on this momentum as we move into April – supporting clients through new projects, further service improvements, and ongoing developments across systems and security. We look forward to sharing that journey in next month’s insight.
